An Irish model has given a glimpse at what it's like to model for ASOS, and it's intense

This makes our selfie shoots look extremely amateurish.

WE ALL THINK we have an idea of what being a model must be like – glamour, beautiful locations, luxurious designer clothes.

But in reality, that’s just a small part of the industry. What about the 9-5 of being a model? What’s that like?

Joanna Cooper is a former Miss Universe Ireland, and has since moved to London to model. You’ve definitely seen her at least once or twice if you haunt ASOS:

She recently posted a behind-the-scenes clip from an ASOS modelling shoot, and if you thought it was mostly lounging around taking your time to get your best angles and poses, you were wrong.

It’s all about hitting your marks, and hitting them fast:

That’s no joke. We can barely take a decent selfie in that amount of time. Remind us of this next time we start going on about how modelling is easy, please.
